Bali Animal Welfare Association

BAWA is a Bali-based non-profit dedicated to saving and protecting animals. Founded by Janice Girardi and formally established in 2007, BAWA has over 40 years of life-saving impact, with a strong focus on endangered Bali dogs. The organisation runs 24/7 rescue services, spay-neuter and rabies vaccination programs, school education reaching 75,000 children annually, disaster response, and One Health initiatives to eliminate rabies and prevent cruelty. All work relies entirely on donations.
