Lviv Lions Flag Football

Lviv Lions is a community-driven sports organization developing flag football in Ukraine and building a new culture around team sport. For more than 15 years, we have used sport as a tool to shape character - building discipline, leadership, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging. Today, our focus goes beyond the field. We are working to create a sustainable ecosystem for flag football in Ukraine through youth programs, school partnerships, coach education, and community initiatives. Our goal is not only to grow the game, but to build the infrastructure that has never fully existed before, a system where young athletes can start, develop, compete, and progress at every stage. At the core of everything we do is team culture. We believe that sport is not just about performance, but about learning how to work together, support each other, and become part of something bigger than yourself. As Ukraine rebuilds, we see sport as a powerful force to help young people find community, purpose, and hope for the future. With flag football joining the Olympic Games, we are also creating real pathways for the next generation of Ukrainian athletes to compete at the highest level and represent their country on the world stage.
