Meet Sisilia, a remarkable young woman who is bravely fighting a rare autoimmune disorder known as Lupus. When we welcomed her into our care, we were unaware of the uphill battle that lay ahead. Sisilia needs ongoing treatment and support for the rest of her life, and we are committed to ensuring she receives the best possible care. To provide for Sisilia and others facing similar challenges, we’re seeking to secure accommodation for the next year. This safe haven will not only be a refuge for Sisilia but will also offer a home for critically ill children from Sumba, allowing them to access the vital medical care they need.
