New House For Single Father Of Twins

While visiting the mountainous region of Kintamani, Bali, the EffortX Foundation team became aware of a father living in severe hardship with his twin children. Only recently, this man lost his wife, leaving him to care for his children alone while surviving in conditions no family should endure. Their current shelter is unsafe and unsuitable for living. The house is built with dirt floors, leaks badly during rain, and offers little protection from cold mountain temperatures. The bedding is inadequate, and there is no secure, dry place for the children to sleep. Located on one of Bali’s highest peaks, the environment is harsh, with frequent rain, wind, and cold nights compounding their vulnerability. This project aims to provide this family of three with a safe, stable, and dignified home. Funds raised will go toward rebuilding or significantly upgrading their shelter to include solid flooring, proper roofing, weather protection, and safe sleeping arrangements. Beyond providing physical safety, this project is about restoring stability, dignity, and hope during an incredibly difficult chapter of their lives. The EffortX Foundation team will manage this project directly, working with trusted local support to ensure funds are used transparently and that progress is documented and shared with donors. Every contribution will help turn an unsafe shelter into a place this family can finally call home.
